Aer Lingus have announced two new routes out of Dublin Airport, to North America for 2018.
Dublin – Philadelphia
Adding to its ever growing transatlantic network, the Irish airline revealed that flights will start from Dublin to Philadelphia on 25th March 2018. The flights will operate four times weekly in and out of the city best known for being the birthplace of American democracy.
Dublin – Seattle
Direct flights to Seattle from Dublin International Airport will begin in May 2018. Again there will be four direct flights weekly and flights can be booked at this time.
Aer Lingus have expanded their summer schedule this year, with other North American destinations including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami and twice daily flights to Chicago. The number of Aer Lingus routes to the United States currently sits at 15.
Ireland – USA Business Travel
The new routes are good news for corporate travellers, who have until now had to do the journey in two legs. Seattle’s biggest employer is Boeing, with Amazon and Microsoft also holding impressive bases in the city. All three have substantial business relations in Ireland and are planning varying levels of expansion.
