U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) have recently announced that real-time approvals will no longer be available for the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
CBP has reinforced the requirement that customers from Visa Waiver Program countries should apply for their ESTA not less than 72 hours before their international flight is scheduled to depart.
It is of the utmost importance therefore that passengers travelling to the US have all the required travel documents before departing their originating airport.
Customers presenting themselves to airlines who do not have the required documents, including ESTA when applicable, could find their journeys disrupted and themselves unable to gain access to the US.
