British Airways introduces the UK’s only direct route to Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Their exciting new route to Dammam will launch 1 December 2019, giving customers a choice of three cities in Saudi Arabia – in addition to Jeddah and Riyadh – to fly to with BA.
The new route marks the only direct service to the region from the UK. The daily flights will depart from London Heathrow Terminal 5 and land at Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport via Bahrain in around eight hours.
This includes a brief stopover at Bahrain, where refreshments will be served on board and customers can continue to watch films and programmes on their in-flight entertainment system.
British Airways also launched a six-per week service between London Gatwick and summer hotspot Antalya, Turkey.
The new summer route begins on April 30, 2020 and will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
The new route to Turkey complements a summer Gatwick service to Dalaman and year-round flights between Istanbul and Heathrow.
