This month, Beyond Business Travel’s Edel Doherty joins the regional SME council of the Confederation of British Industry.
Beyond Business Travel maintain close links to the business community and are representing Northern Ireland businesses within the CBI. This ensure NI SMEs have a voice at the CBI in helping shape Government Policy.

The CBI speaks on behalf of 190,000 businesses. Together they employ nearly 7 million people, about one-third of the private sector-employed workforce.
With 12 Regional, National Councils and 16 policy Standing Committees that meet every quarter, engaging over 1,000 senior business leaders from over 700 CBI member companies. Through this process, members have a direct say in what the CBI do and how they do it, inputting ideas and evidence to direct their work.
