British Airways redesigns Products and Services

British Airways’ New A350 Aircraft and New Business Class ‘Club Suite’ 

British Airways has unveiled its highly-anticipated new business class seat ‘Club Suite’ and confirmed it will arrive on the first of its A350 aircraft in July. The newly-branded ‘Club Suite offers direct-aisle access, a suite door for greater privacy and luxurious flat-bed seats in a 1-2-1 configuration.

Boasting 40 per cent more storage, including a vanity unit and mirror, WiFi, enviable 17 to 18.5 inch inflight entertainment screens, high definition gate-to-gate programming and PC / USB power.

The first A350 aircraft will start some short-haul flying between london and Madrid to allow the airline’s teams to perfect their customer service delivery and familiarise cabin crew with the aircraft layout.

Putting the Premium into Premium Economy.  

The World Traveller Plus cabin features a smaller number of rows for a more exclusive experience but you’ll find the cabin big on space and big on features, including:

  • wider seat with greater recline, lumbar support, head rest and foot rest and extra leg room to stretch out
  • personal entertainment system with noise-cancelling headphones
  • comfy cushion and blanket, amenity kit with toothbrush, socks and an eye mask
  • power supply for laptops and other electronic devices

Upgraded complimentary food and drink throughout the flight including magnum ice creams an day flights and tuck boxes on night flights.

BA have worked with some of the world’s top chefs and British designers to bring you the full restaurant experience at 35,000 feet.

  • New signature afternoon tea service, showcasing the great British tradition of high tea. The menu will include a selection of sandwiches, delicate pastries and scones, as well as a wide range of tea infusions
  • A wide selection of Champagnes, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks
  • Flexibility to order whenever suits you best

Ever Expanding Networks

British Airways has begun expanding its route network to various destinations throughout the globe, a twice weekly service to Charleston – South Carolina, four weekly flights to Osaka – Japan and Three weekly flights to Islamabad – Pakistan. Leading the way with Technology 

Biometric boarding – British airways was the first airline to trial self-service biometric boarding gates on international flights out of the USA, working in partnership with Los Angeles Airport. Expanded to Orlando for departing flights and New York and Miami for arriving flights. Research was carried out and more than 400 passengers boarded A380 in less than 20 minutes and example that technology is changing our ways of travel in every aspect.

Mototok tug – with being the worlds first airline to introduce high-tech remote controlled Mototok tug devices to push back aircrafts. The Machines have reduced push back delays by 54 per cent, greatly improving punctuality, BA is the first commercial operator to deploy the devices across multiple aircraft stands.

Enhanced services for connecting customers 

First, Club, Club Europe plus, Gold and Silver Executive club members provided with chauffeur driven car, where possible to transfer there next flight.Re-booking in the air with a message relayed to the Cabin Crew. Flights with a large number of connections arrive at most convenient stands and where possible a vehicle is arranged to transfer to your next connecting flight.
