Hurricane Ophelia hits Ireland – Advice for affected business travellers

Severe weather conditions are expected across Ireland and Northern Ireland, as the remains of Hurricane Ophelia approaches the UK.

While most flights this morning continued as planned, Belfast Airport, George Best Belfast City Airport and Dublin Airport have all reported disruption and cancellations for this afternoon.

Ferry crossings have also been affected, with most Irish Sea crossings cancelled for the rest of the day.

We have already contacted all clients affected so far and will continue to monitor the situation and inform those whose travel plans may be disrupted over the next few days.

If you need assistance please don’t hesitate to contact your Beyond Business Travel Account Manager.

If you are not a Beyond Business Travel client, then please check with your airline, or travel operator before setting out for the airport or port.

We have included a list of links below, so you can check for cancellations and delays.
