Following on from UK travellers requiring fingerprints for Chinese travel this year, in accordance with Chinese laws & regulations, the Embassy of China in Ireland launched the collection of fingerprints of all visa applicants.
Please note that all applicants should submit their applications in person at the Visa Office of the Embassy and have their fingerprints collected. Visitors to China whose fingerprints do not match may be denied entry and should bear all the consequences. Meanwhile, visa applicants are kindly reminded to make an appointment online as early as possible well ahead of travel schedule.
