New Dublin Airport Routes: Vienna, Moscow, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Beijing, Hong Kong
Dublin Airport has confirmed 14 new routes for this winter season.
In a time of rapid expansion for the airport, new routes will include Laudamotion flights Vienna, Aeroflot slots to Moscow, while the much controversial Ryanair has added Frankfurt and Luxembourg to its route network.
The four new routes join ten summer services which started in the summer of 2018 and will run this winter for the first time. Cathay Pacific is flying to Hong Kong, Hainan Airlines introduced Beijing flights, Icelandair’s new route to Reykjavik is proving popular, Aer Lingus recently launched flights to Seattle as Ryanair expands to Bari, Marrakesh, Athens, Santander and Paphos.
It has been an exciting time for Dublin Airport, as they enjoy record passengers and footfall in 2018.
During the period of July 2018, more than three million passengers were processed, making it the busiest month for the transport hub to date. This extra load is mostly attributed to the increase in Transatlantic routes.
