Ryanair flights from Belfast to London Gatwick Airport will be grounded for four months, it has been announced today.
The route will not operate between November and March. It is one of 34 that has been suspended by the Irish airline, who has limped from one PR disaster to another this month.
Chief Executive Michael O’Leary apologised for what he described as ‘sensible’ schedule changes, after the company decided it was time to ‘slow growth.’
Our team at Beyond Business Travel reacted quickly when the news broke and within just a few hours, had rebooked new flights for all of our affected clients.
However not everyone was so lucky and Twitter has been flooded with complaints from those affected by the cancelations.
Complaints & Comments
Last night booked @Ryanair flight to Belfast in March. Website now lists it as cancelled, along with our December flights. What is going on?

Disgraceful tbh. I’ve just had to book on @easyJet from Belfast which is costing me £250 more. Requested refund from @Ryanair won’t cover it
