Typhoon Jebi hit Japan – Kansai Airport, Near Osaka Closed

Typhoon Jebi, has caused chaos in Japan. It’s being described as the most powerful storm to hit the country in more than two decades. So far there have been ten fatalities.

Kansai Airport, a major transport hub serving Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto, was cut off when an ocean tanker hit and damaged its bridge to the mainland. The airport remains closed.

As a result hundreds of flights have been cancelled and business travellers have seen their journeys and trips disrupted.

We have arranged alternate travel for any of our clients affected and will also continue to monitor and update with any further developments as the week continues.
