Jet Airways have confirmed that they will be increasing the frequency of their flights from Manchester Airport to Mumbai.
In May the airline revealed that they would be flying four times a week to the new destination. Before the route has been launched, it’s been confirmed that the flights have moved to five per week, with a new Friday option now open for booking.
Flights begin on 5th November and will operate every day except Tuesday and Wednesday from the English airport.
It is welcome news for business travellers in the area, who will benefit from increased connectivity from their region.
This is just the latest in a number of good news stories from Manchester Airport. We recently reported that the £180 million airport city is expected to provide a large boost to international trade, while excitement is high for the opening of the new ‘Super-Terminal’ costing £1bn.
